Profile Page Guide

Overview

The Profile Page is a dedicated section within the application where users can view their personal account information and current assigned role. This page serves as the central hub for users to verify their identity details, credentials, and system-level identifiers associated with their account.

Key Features

The Profile Page currently provides the following key features:

  • Personal Information Display: Shows the user's username and email address.
  • Role Verification: Displays the user's assigned role within the application (e.g., ADMIN, USER).
  • System Identifiers: Shows technical identifiers including the internal User ID and the WorkflowMax (WFM) UUID, which is helpful for troubleshooting or auditing integrations.
  • User Preferences (Upcoming): A dedicated section placeholder where users will be able to customize their application experience in the future.

Common Tasks

Since the Profile Page is primarily an informational page at this stage, the common tasks involve viewing and verifying information:

  1. Verify Account Details: Ensure that your email address and username are correct.
  2. Check Current Role: Confirm your permissions level by viewing your assigned role.
  3. Retrieve System IDs: If you need to contact support or report an issue, you can navigate here to retrieve your unique User ID or WFM UUID.

UI Guide

The Profile Page layout is split into an intuitive grid system using cards to separate different concerns.
